Wednesday, February 01, 2012
Just more than seven months after Governor Nathan Deal signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act into law, one of its more contested components is taking effect. As of 01/08/2012, Georgia businesses with 500 employees or more are required to check their employees using an online system called E-Verify. Workers must be U.S. citizens or otherwise authorized to work in the country in order to be hired.

Skydive Sponsored by Selection.com

09/11/2011- MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Members of a local skydiving team honored the victims of 9/11 by jumping over Middletown with giant U.S. flags.
Team Fastrax was supposed to fly over ground zero in New York on Sunday, but that jump was canceled because of heightened security.
Instead, the members of the skydiving team jumped over Middletown's Hook Field at 10:27 a.m., so that they could deploy 10 flags at precisely the moment that the second tower fell.
Among the flags flown Sunday was the largest flag ever flow on a skydive. The flag was 7,800 square feet in size.
Team Fastrax said the jump is to honor the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the servicemen and women who continue "fighting to protect and preserve our freedom."
